Our DTP Process
Desktop Publishing & Typesetting
Global Link offers complete pre-press capabilities and electronic production services with total quality management. All of our electronic production artists and typesetters are highly trained and experienced in foreign-language type and layout production. Your project manager, who understands the specifications of the project, supervises the production team. Throughout the production phase, the materials undergo our in-house quality control process and/or proofreading by our native-speaking editors. This ensures that all text adheres to the original and that the words are properly hyphenated, capitalized, punctuated, and spelled correctly.
Our DTP Process
A fully proofed and reviewed translation is typeset in the client’s preferred DTP program of their choice.
Global Link’s graphic design team produces a PDF proof replicating the original format.
Our language experts will provide a comprehensive post layout proofreading of the formatted foreign language version.
The graphic design team will make any necessary adjustments highlighted by the language team.
A PDF proof is then sent to the client for approval or comments.
Upon client approval, we will send the client the final, print-ready, and web-enables file.
